Born and raised in Germany, I started my 3yr apprenticeship in 1985 in Nuernberg, Bavaria. In 1995 I received my masters degree in Hair. But I decided I needed to come to Los Angeles to broaden my skills and simply wanted to live in the sunny state of California. In the years since I have been in the USA I have worked and managed a large salon in Marina del Rey, California for 13 years and traveled the world as a platform artist for a large product manufacturer. I have worked trade shows , work shops, in salon classes and fashion shows all over the US, Germany and England, but after 7 years of traveling, I decided to stay put again and just focus on my clients. I get the most pleasure helping my clients finding a look they enjoy and hair that makes them feel beautiful. It is very important to me to teach my clients how to style their hair and find a look they can maintain with ease.
